EYE 4 FUTURE: ADVERTISING DESIGN
About the Client: The Eye For Future Contest was announced by The International Advertising Association, India Chapter to help spread awareness regarding Diabetic Retinopathy.
The Outcome: We looked at media that mainly suited the 40+ year old audience, since they formed the majority of the patient demographics. The challenge was to target diabetic patients specifically. We tried to attain this by highlighting the word 'diabetes' itself. We also realized that the two 'e's and the 't' in the word looked like a face. Adding minimal eyeballs to these instantly gave the face some peculiar characteristics, which could be played with for each medium. The campaign here features - print ads (suitable for newspaper and magazines), mirror-sticker ad, hoarding ad, a post-check up tee-shirt and a TVC storyboard.
